Howdy friends and neighbors. Watch out for grain drills, seed carts, old wheat trucks, tractors, plows, sprayers, fertilizer spreaders, lunch (or dinner) boxes, fuel trailers, and farm wives trying to figure out where “the field over yonder, down from the one we just got done with,” is so they can deliver any or all the above mentioned items! In other words wheat sowing time is here. You’ve just got to love this time of year. Cool mornings and nights, warm to hot days, and things are still green but have that look of needing to hibernate. The season is changing.
I, along with many others, am going to step out and say that the democratic nominee for vice president, ol’ hair plug Biden, will for some reason pull out of the race for the spare bedroom in the White House soon. I can’t believe the democrats didn’t put Hillary on the ticket for president or VP. I still think if the DNC had nominated Hillary as their candidate, she would have won the race. But they let the main stream media promote an empty suit with a slogan of “change” to the top. Now all the dems are wondering what they have done. To save face, Biden will say something really stupid, (I mean worse than he already has) and will pull out of the race. It seems that “Change” by picking a life long D.C.er has-been didn’t spark the polls like they thought. I could be wrong, but the dems know they can’t win in December with their current ticket. (When Florida gets done counting hanging chads, New Mexico counts for the fifth time, and we find some ballots off of an aircraft carrier.)
Biden is such a typical DC elitist hypocrite. He says the rich should pay more taxes because it’s the patriotic thing to do. Well, Senator Biden, the records seem to prove that you are rich, so just go ahead and write the IRS a check for 90% of your holdings, including your house in the Dominican Republic that you haven’t paid taxes on yet, and I’ll eat my words and consider you very patriotic in your definition. It’s both side of the aisle and the hill. These DC spend-a-holics are more concerned about pleasing the ones that contribute to their elections than they are about the money they are borrowing from my kid. Just so they can bail out a business that should flop. The D.C.ers point fingers at Wall Street and promise the American people they will put more regulations in place to stop such catastrophes. It is GOVERNMENT run and backed companies that are failing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well-run companies, banks and institutions are doing just fine. I’ll repeat that. Well-run, highly liquid (lots of cash) businesses are thriving.
But thanks to Bush (he was the only one left in town to work on this, the House and the Senate split town) we the tax paying Americans now own an insurance company and several banks with bad loans. Yippee, I hope it pays better than feeding cattle!!!!!
I’m Monte Tucker, and I’m so ready for November to get here.
